rights and responsibilities.


You have the right to:

  • A safe environment
  • Be listened to & have your views heard
  • Have what you say to your support worker treated as confidential
  • Have your complaints acted upon quickly and effectively
  • Be treated fairly regardless of your race, ethnic origin, nationality, religion, culture, gender,
    sexual orientation or disability
  • Be consulted about and have input into decisions that affect you
  • Be informed of the guidelines of how the project operates
  • Have access to your file upon request

We expect you to:

  • Respect other people’s property and space
  • Not be physically, emotionally or verbally abusive to other service users including children,
    staff, visitors and neighbours
  • Respect other people’s opinions and beliefs
  • Work with your support worker in an honest way
  • Feedback about the service you receive where necessary
