Celebrating 20 Years of Sophia 

2017 is an important milestone for Sophia as we celebrate 20 years of providing homes and supporting people across Ireland.

Over the past 2 decades Sophia has been quietly supporting people as they emerge from homelessness. Responding to the ever growing need in Ireland Sophia now directly houses 259 adults and 169 children with another 108 people supported in outreach programmes.

Homelessness can be a very stressful and chaotic time for an individual. Sophia aims to work with each service user at their own pace in order to prepare them for more long term accommodation. Sophia also provides service users with training and skill development to greater improve their independence.

Sophia has a number of various different projects around the country offering, emergency, transitional, short term and long term accommodation, support and outreach to individuals and families.
